An update on the business

I haven't talked about it much, but we're living in Buenos Aires for the primary reason of growing and building an IT services outsourcing business. It's pretty global in scope. Our investor is based in China, my co-founder and our customers are in California, and here I am in Palermo Soho, Buenos Aires, Autonomous Ciudad. Of course joined by my partner in life - Christie.

We've spent the first few months of this year doing a few things:

1) Closing our funding/investment round

2) Building operations in Buenos Aires, including hiring our 3 key leadership team

3) Acquiring a related company

4) A potpourri of random business items to get a company off the ground, including registration, identifying payroll, HR, legal, accounting, office space, and a plethora of other services

I've learned a ton and love the challenge. If I was doing this in San Francisco my head would be spinning, but it's 10X'd due to navigating a foreign country, a lot of red tape, and a different language and culture.

The best part is I'm using everything from my Global Executive MBA, from corporate finance to operations, accounting, and consulting. I'm thankful for this opportunity and look forward to sharing more soon, which includes launching our logo, website, and introducing some of the team members who've made this all possible. More updates to come.

By the way, here's my professional headshot, got it in Tandil, Argentina at a good price :)
