Tuk Tuk rides and Angkor Beer in Siem Reap

We made it to the Kingdom of Cambodia!

Upon our arrival at Siem Reap International AIrport, our AirBNB hotel host said he wlil send a taxi driver to pick us up.

Instead of a taxi however, we were pleasantly surprised to have a tuk tuk waiting for us.

Mr. Kahn our tuk tuk driver was a friendly 52-year-old man. He greeted us warmly, lifted our heavy suitcases, and strapped them to his tuk tuk.

Brian double checking the suitcase to make sure it's properly strapped on for the ride

Mr. Kahn then stopped by a nearby market to buy 3 cans of local Angkor beer. 1 each or Brian and I, and 1 for himself. He opened our cans, cheered, then drank his beer while driving us to our hotel!

Nothing like drinking Angkor Beer on a Cambodia tuk tuk ride

No seatbelt for this black suitcase, so Brian and I held it down with our feet

Brian, our 2 suitcases, and I safely made it to our hotel on Mr. Kahn's tuk tuk ride!

We're very excited to explore the Kingdom of Cambodia and its many historical ruins.
