Celebrating our 3 year wedding anniversary in the Big Island of Hawaii
We celebrated our 3 year wedding anniversary in Kona, Hawaii Island (aka Big Island) this past weekend!
Our 3 year anniversary weekend was an amazing and relaxing weekend lounging by the black sand beach-side pool and the SPG lounge that had 180 panoramic views of the bay.
The highlight of the weekend was the incredible opportunity to take a helicopter tour of the Big Island aboard an AirBus EC130 Eco-Star!
Our helicopter tour flew over Mt. Kilauea's Pu'u O'o vent an active volcano, hot molten lava pouring into the sea, cascades of waterfalls in Waimanu Valley, the white sand beaches of the Kohala Coast, and cattle ranches up north.
Here are some photos and videos from the flight.
Got up at 4 am for the early am flight! Totally worth it.

Wow is all I can say!
At the end of the trip, we had the opportunity to meet up for lunch with my college friend Peter and his lovely wife Ryoko who live on the Big Island. Peter and Ryoko drove all the way from Hilo (a 2.5 hour drive to Kona) to hang out over a yummy Hawaiian plate lunch at Umeke's Fish Market.
Wow, it's been 3 years already since our wedding. Time sure does fly!
A huge thank you to all of our family and friends who have been a part of our life, we wouldn't be who we are today without your love and support.
