The Big 4-0

Wow, I can't believe I'm 40. It's not that scary of an age that I thought it would be, and maybe it's a bigger deal for women, but I'm basically middle age and that's a major life milestone.

I feel like I've accomplished quite a bit and checked off many things on my bucket list, with more things added each year, like compounding interest. Things get added to my realistic goal bucket that a few years prior weren't even on the list of what I felt I was capable of, so that is great sign. Most importantly, I feel a little more settled and stable with a wife, son, dog, and home that we own. I'm more involved with church than ever before, enjoy entrepreneurship, and trying to be a leader for my family and businesses each day.

This year I celebrated my birthday week with surfing lessons (I got up!), standup paddle board (I fell down, a lot), a church running group, a 50 hour water only fast, and a beautiful birthday dinner at Disney Aulani with Christie and Zach.

Surfing at Eishenhower Beach

Mon - Wed, water only.

Steak, appetizers, drinks, and dessert. Plus my loved ones, what a great birthday dinner

Sunrise run with the much faster runners from my manna church running group, but like they say, if you're not challenging yourself, you're not changing yourself.

Definitely not me! I was falling allover the place, but it was a nice challenge doing standup paddle
